United Worship Among Churches

As I've spoken of the unity and support we have seen with other churches, I have yet to see it embodied in the way I did this last week. Last Wednesday, we brought four churches together for a Worship and Praise Night - Pacific Pointe, Pathways, Convergence, and Echo Church. What an amazing night!

That night we worshiped the Lord through song together, prayed together, and took communion together. We also connected through a variety of different means. It was so incredible to see these people not as Echo or Pathways, but as followers of Christ, united. I joyfully sat watching as our students went for communion, never with more than two together. They were fully dispersed among their brothers and sisters in Christ.

As a pastor, it was great to experience a worship gathering where I could stand alongside fellow pastors, worshiping God together, sharing the load, and genuinely enjoying doing so as brothers. What an incredible blessing!

As a church in Costa Mesa, I genuinely pray that we can see more and more of this in our city (not to mention more of it in Orange County as well). My prayer is that people will see God through the unity that we live out (John 17:20-23).

Night of Praise & Worship

Another way in which we have been seeing unity among some churches in Orange County, is through various forms of collaboration. One upcoming example of that collaboration is a Night of Praise and Worship.

Echo Church will be partnering with Pacific Pointe, Pathways, and Convergence in this. It is so exciting to see churches join together to praise God, partake of communion, and just be in community together! I look forward to seeing how this turns out and reporting other ways in which we are partnering in the near future.
