So.... I've been a little busy to keep writing down the great ways God is working in Echo Church. So many exciting things, it's hard to list them all.
Of course, it is not easy to be a Costa Mesa Church. Nor is it easy to plant a church with no funding or formal support.
More recently, as our families have struggled financially, we have begun to pray that God bless this ministry and provide what we need to move forward or that He burn it to the ground. This is not because we don't love what we do. Nor that we don't believe in the vision that God has given us. If we didn't believe in this calling we would have given up long ago. Rather, this is about begging the Almighty God and trusting that if He has more in store for this ministry, that He (and He alone) is in control.
We have come up with a 3-6 month checklist that we are putting before the Lord like a fleece. We are trusting that all 5 items will be checked off, that God will support us, that this vision will be realized, and that we will see great fruits.
